Parents should constantly be asking themselves if the experiences their child is having are increasing their self-confidence.

Experiences which challenge.
Experiences which tap potential.
Experiences which inspire.
Experiences which broaden horizons.

And...to put it bluntly, the current school system of worthless "wrote-learning" does NOT cultivate confidence.
It merely creates drones who have been taught to sit still, obey authority, and follow orders.
An inflexible system will create brittle people.
